Kudos to, dwarvenson, for creating the fractal, scorpionspider in Fractal ViZion. We worked together to get the critter's coloration right. I then imported it into Bryce, and worked the scene around it. The scorp is a true fractal image, no post-rendering was done to make it more arthropod-ish.
